Workshop Details
An event flyer is one of the most effective tools for promoting your event and encouraging community participation. In this beginner-friendly workshop, we'll cover the essential elements every successful flyer should include: the 5 W's (Who, What, Where, When, and Why).
Using Canva's templates and design tools, we'll create an event flyer together, step by step. You'll also learn how to export and share your design online, as well as how to print and post it around the community.
Please bring your laptop so you can follow along and create your own flyer during the workshop. No previous Canva experience is required. If you don't already have an account, we recommend creating one before the workshop.
Free to attend, no RSVP required.
60-minute hands-on workshop, with time reserved for questions
Open discussion + peer support
Light refreshments provided
No experience needed to participate. Come learn, connect, and share your unique insights with fellow community workers and organizations. We’d love to see you there!
