Field of Interest Funds
About Field of Interest Funds
Field of Interest Funds are designed to direct resources to community organizations working in specific areas of need and opportunity across the Keweenaw.
Each fund focuses on a key area such as education, arts and culture, health and wellness, or basic needs, and is used by the Keweenaw Community Foundation to provide grants to nonprofits and initiatives that make a meaningful impact in that area. Eligible applicants include nonprofits with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, educational institutions, governmental entities, and religious organizations, with funded projects serving the Keweenaw Peninsula.
We work closely with local partners, nonprofits, and community leaders to identify where support is most needed, ensuring that funding is directed to impactful, community-driven efforts.
When you give to a Field of Interest Fund, your gift helps us meet immediate needs and long-term priorities, strengthening our community in meaningful, lasting ways.
