Copper Country Kiwanis Scholarship Fund
An annual scholarship is awarded to Houghton High School students who demonstrate academic excellence and leadership, and who participate in community service.
The Copper Country Kiwanis Scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors from Houghton High School who demonstrate academic excellence and leadership and who participate in community service. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. The main focuses of the Kiwanis Club of the Copper Country are youth activities and support for families. With this in mind, the local Kiwanis Club has established a scholarship fund to help local students cover the cost of education.
