Announcing Nonprofit Education Series with Grow and Lead!
Keweenaw Community Foundation is pleased to sponsor a new Nonprofit Education and Networking Event series, featuring training from Grow and Lead.
The first session will be on Tuesday, May 7 at the Keweenaw Community Foundation, 236 Quincy Street in downtown Hancock from 4-5:30 pm. Refreshments will be provided.
- The first session topic will cover βAll Things Grants,β providing a broad overview of grant writing and management components. This includes finding grants, budgeting, program planning/logic models, grant management, and reporting. 
- Events will be held Quarterly, in May, August, November, and February in the late afternoon/evenings. 
- Anyone interested in the topics is encouraged to attend. 
- Each event will follow a similar agenda: - Introductions: icebreaker questions to kick off the session 
- Training: a 45-minute session focusing on high-level topics related to grant writing and nonprofit management 
- Community Building: networking time to foster connections among attendees 
- Feedback: short paper surveys will be distributed for evaluation and feedback 
 
- Future sessions will delve into specific components based on feedback and survey results. Potential topics include volunteer recruitment, training, volunteer management, and governance.
