Request for Proposal (RFP) – Movable Community Mural
In the Keweenaw, community runs deep. It’s found in the generosity of neighbors, the resilience of shared traditions, and the creativity that emerges when people come together with a sense of place and purpose.
This mural is a celebration of that spirit, a way to reflect the diversity, vibrancy, and connections that define our everyday lives. While the region’s history shapes us, it’s our relationships and collective vision that carry us forward. Public art creates space for reflection, recognition, and joy, welcoming everyone into a story that’s still unfolding.
We invite artists to help us express this ongoing narrative: rooted in community, open to many voices, and grounded in the unique character of the Keweenaw.
