Welcoming Madelina DiLisi as KCF’s New Director of Programs

Madelina DiLisi, Director of Programs

The Keweenaw Community Foundation is thrilled to welcome Madelina DiLisi as our new Director of Programs! She will oversee our granting program as well as other community engagement efforts.

Madelina came to the Keweenaw over 6 years ago as a student at Michigan Tech, where she received a B.S. in Sustainability, Science and Society and a M.S. in Environmental and Energy Policy. As a student Madelina fell in love with the Keweenaw and became connected with the community through local food systems work. Madelina’s love for the area grew as she served as the Calumet Farmers Market Manager and became a board member on the From the Ground Farmers Market Collective.

Now, as KCF’s Director of Programs, Madelina brings her expertise in sustainability, community engagement, and program development to support and expand KCF’s impact. “The Keweenaw is a special place with people who are genuine and passionate. I’m grateful to be able to call this place my home and to engage in work that supports and celebrates our community,” she shared.

We’re excited to have Madelina’s leadership and vision guiding KCF’s programs, and we look forward to the ways she will help us continue building connections, fostering collaborations, and creating a stronger future for the Keweenaw.
