FREE Non-profit Board Governance Workshop November 11 & 12!
Keweenaw Area Community Foundation and Real People Media invite area nonprofit leaders to participate in a free in-depth workshop on nonprofit Governance and Board Development on November 11th and 12th at the Keweenaw Storytelling Center in downtown Calumet. The workshop, conducted by Pamela Evans, provides valuable information for those serving, or interested in serving, as a nonprofit Director or Executive Director. The training is valuable to both new and experienced Directors. The workshop commences at 6pm on Friday, November 11 with a Meet and Greet. Organizations are welcome to bring flyers/literature and share upcoming events and/or needs. During the evening Ms. Evans will share the most critical issues facing most boards. Participants will be eligible for giveaways and other goodies provided by participating organizations.
